Christmas greetings 2025

Thank you for an eventful 2025

– and welcome to a new chapter

As the year draws to a close, we look back on a 2025 characterised by progress, strengthened partnerships, and an important strategic shift. At Linka Group, we are proud that the year once again demonstrates how far we can go when expertise, collaboration and commitment go hand in hand.

In 2025, we delivered numerous new plants to both existing and new customers, and we entered markets where we had not previously been represented.

2025 was also the year in which Brian Pedersen transferred the majority shareholding in Linka Group to Christoffer Lassen and the investment company Kincap. This change of ownership marks the beginning of a new chapter in Linka Group’s history and brings new resources, networks, and competencies to support the Group’s development and international expansion.

“It has been important for me to find the right majority owners so that the positive development can continue,” said Brian Pedersen.

”I see significant opportunities for Linka Group – within its current segments, geographically, and by applying its market-leading technology in new areas – and I have great respect for what the Group’s companies have already achieved”, said Christoffer Lassen.

As we look towards 2026, we do so with strong optimism, a solid order book, and many projects in the pipeline.

Our focus is clear: continued growth, innovation, and green development through reliable and efficient energy solutions.

We will strengthen our service business, expand internationally, and continue to deliver technological solutions that make a real difference for industry, agriculture, and district heating.

Thank you to all our customers, partners, and colleagues for your cooperation in 2025.
Your trust is the driving force behind our success.

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a prosperous, green and forward-looking 2026.

FJV Landsmødet 2025

Energy in Transition

Meet Weiss & Linka at FJV Landsmødet 2025

The district heating sector is undergoing major changes – and this year’s theme, “Energy in Transformation”, perfectly reflects our joint mission at Weiss: delivering reliable, flexible, and sustainable solutions to prepare heat supply for the future.

Together with Linka, we will be participating in Dansk Fjernvarme’s Annual Meeting 2025 2025 in Odense, October 30–31.

At our stand, you can learn more about:

  • Large straw boilers that provide stable and future-proof heat
  • Wood chip boilers and flue gas cleaning that comply with the latest emission requirements
  • Multi-fuel boilers that ensure fuel flexibility and freedom

👉 Visit us at stand SA-4 in the Green Area — let’s talk about how Weiss and Linka can help your district heating plant take the next step in the green transition.

We look forward to inspiring discussions, new ideas, and showing how together we can shape the energy solutions of tomorrow.

Weiss ApS rebuilds a chip plant for a customer in the wood industry

Weiss ApS rebuilds a chip plant for a customer in the wood industry

The challenge:

The customer has a Linka boiler to heat the factory by burning wood chips from production. The customer’s chip silo is too small and its cone-shaped bottom is unsuitable for sawdust/shavings because the material bridges inside and cannot be fed out. In the summer, surplus chips are transported away in containers. In winter, it struggles to produce enough wood chips to heat the factory.

The solution:

It is decided to connect the boiler to the city’s district heating system so that heat can be exchanged both ways. Weiss ApS. Installing a new and larger silo, with a flat bottom and a Weiss NFU 600 outfeeder. In addition, a solution is designed for filling wood pellets during periods when not enough wood chips are produced for firing. Throughout the conversion phase, the customer borrows a mobile 3 MW oil boiler from Weiss. This is connected to the heating system until the district heating is connected.

Now:

The facility after reconstruction: The existing chain conveyor is now used, along with a new unloading station, to fill with wood pellets in the winter. The chip silo has double the capacity compared to before. With the new Weiss outfeeder, there are no longer any problems getting the material out of the silo and into the boiler. In the summer, surplus heat is fed into the local district heating network.

Valued employee returns to Weiss

After 5 months at Middelfart Fjernvarme, the loss of Weiss became too much for Ronni Andreasen.

We are therefore pleased to announce that Ronni, a highly valued employee, has returned to Weiss ApS.

Both the employees and management at Weiss are thrilled to have Ronni back.

Welcome back, Ronni!

Weiss back in Scotland

Weiss back in Scotland

We have been working for the NHS at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for the past few years, where we have installed two 1.6 MW biomass pellet boilers that produce steam for the hospital’s laundry/cleaning facilities.

Our Service Engineer is currently there to provide support and training to their operating staff.

First fire

Weiss is now finishing updating an older steam boiler with original retort principle at a customer on Funen.

It has been a major upgrade project where we have installed:

  • A new complete Weiss stoker w/cell sluice.
  • A new Weiss 1000 KW push grate for wood pellets w/hydraulic station.
  • A transition section from grate to boiler.
  • A new option for better air control, new primary/secondary fans.
  • New ash augers.

The parts have been produced in Linkas Produktion in Lem, based on Weiss technology and know-how.

There was a First Fire on Wednesday, September 29th and now a little trimming and test drive is needed. It is really well done by all involved.
