Within the various industries, ventilation is often associated with the risk of sparks. If a spark follows the airflow into a filter, the risk of ignition of the filter material increases, destroying both the filter material and the filter itself. An XAR Spark Arrester from Weiss separates the sparks and larger particles before they reach the filter, with only 25% loss of normal pressure. The sparks are separated from the air stream and guided into a funnel. A dust collector or container can be attached to the hopper. The spark arrester reduces the risk of fire to a minimum.
