Updating and upgrading boiler controls and SRO systems
Hardware and software for boiler plant controls become obsolete over time and spare parts become difficult to obtain. In addition, the software is being developed to make new and better facilities available.
When a control system is more than 10 years old, you start to run the risk that a broken PLC control system can cause a longer shutdown of the plant, which can often be catastrophic if it happens during the peak season when the boiler plant has to produce.
It is therefore a good idea and due diligence to have your control system checked and confirm that spare parts are still available at short notice.
Secondly, to check if the MMI interface is still up to date.
In connection with the summer inspection of your system, Weiss ApS can make a report on the remaining lifespan of your system, where spare parts are still available.
